Core Workflow Capture – Employees record start, stop, and optional break times either manually (typing or tapping) or automatically through geofenced punches, QR codes, NFC badges, or desktop widgets. Each entry is timestamped and tied to a unique user ID, job code, and location.
Validate – The moment data arrives, the engine checks for overlapping shifts, missing breaks, or policy violations (e.g., maximum daily hours) and prompts the user—or a manager—to correct anomalies before the pay period closes.
Calculate – Rules for regular time, daily overtime, weekly overtime, meal premiums, and holiday multipliers are codified in a policy table. When the pay period ends, the app applies those rules to each employee’s timeline, producing categorized totals: Regular Hours, OT-1.5, OT-2.0, Sick, Vacation, and Unpaid.
Export – With one click, summaries and detailed logs flow to payroll systems (ADP, Gusto, QuickBooks), project-management software (Asana, Trello), or accounting tools (Xero, Sage) via CSV, XLSX, or direct API pushes. Digital signatures lock the records for audit compliance.
